Catch up time
Victorian wavesailing titles. So far 2 rounds have been held - 1 at Cat Bay, Phillip Island and 2nd at Pt Impossible, Torquay. Check the next blog entry for results and pics.
2011 Sandy Point speed fortnight was the first in 4 years where the wind gods did dissapoint, only a couple of days action which I unfortunately missed. Those who are keen for some Sandy Point action, whether wave or flat water - the SHQ Cup weekend is coming up. On at the same time is the Sandy Point wind festival which will bring a whole lot of activities and fun. Round 3 of the Vic Wavesailing titles will be on too (weather permitting :))
I took a month off and headed to Vietnam, amazing place and really cheap. Discovered a new windsurf\kite\sup school in mid Vietnam in a place called Hoi An. Bit unpredictable with wind but if you are tying it into a holiday - great! At least bigger beach than Mui Ne. Check out their website http://www.vietnam-kiteboarding.com.
